This vintage buddha has been cast in resin and filled with ritually blessed roots, herbs, and charms for luck, money, and protection. There is also a cross of Caravaca or "wishing cross," inside the buddhas belly, along with wishing beans, sea hearts, and deer's eye, which are carried as good luck charms worldwide.
